Dr Alvin Chan
MBBS, FRANZCR

Dr Alvin ChanDr Alvin Chan graduated from Sydney University in 1990 and completed radiology training at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney in 1997. He worked as a staff specialist at Nepean Hospital for over a year then entered private practice as a partner in Ultrascan Radiology in 1999.

In 2001, Ultrascan was bought by MIA, and Dr Chan continued to work with Ultrascan, as managing partner for Ultrascan’s Windsor practice for five years. Subsequently, he became the managing radiologist at Ultrascan’s Auburn practice. Dr Chan is currently a visiting medical officer at Westmead Hospital Sydney.

His interests include all modalities of general and diagnostic radiology, including ultrasound, CT and MRI. He has over twelve years’ experience with intervention and biopsies performed under ultrasound and CT guidance. He will join the team at Blacktown Medical Imaging in late 2011.

Dr Jaspal Hunjan
BPharm(Hons, UK), MBA(UK), MBBS, FRANZCR

Dr Jaspal HunjanAfter completing Bachelor of Pharmacy and Masters of Business Administration degrees in the United Kingdom, Dr Hunjan immigrated to Sydney to complete his medical degree at Sydney University. He subsequently trained in radiology at Westmead Hospital.

Following his training, he undertook a one year fellowship at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in advanced medical imaging, with a focus on diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal work. Since returning to Australia, he has served as the main musculoskeletal radiologist at Penrith Imaging, and worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons in the region.

Dr Hunjan has published over 9 articles in peer review journals, and will be an examiner for the RANZCR part II exams in 2013. His current interests are diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal radiology. He is a current member of the Society of Skeletal Radiology, in addition to ARRS, and RSNA. He has full subscription to all leading orthopedic and sports medicine, and musculoskeletal imaging peer review journals. Jaspal will be undertaking intensive Diploma in Sports Medicine this year.

Jaspal is also currently a part time VMO at Campbelltown Hospital, and does MRI reporting on the latest high resolution 3T MRI scan.

Dr Eugene Ng
BSc, MBBS(Hons), FRANZCR

Dr Eugene NgDr Eugene Ng received his medical degree from the University of New South Wales, and graduated with honours. He trained in radiology at Canberra and Westmead Hospitals, and obtained his FRANZCR in 2005.

From 2005 to 2006, he completed a one year MRI and Body Imaging Fellowship at the University Health Network of University of Toronto, Canada. He is a general radiologist in all modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI and Ultrasound and also performs biopsies and interventional procedures under CT and Ultrasound guidance.

His areas of interest are musculoskeletal imaging and neuroradiology. In addition to this, Dr Ng also has interest in abdominal imaging (including liver MRI, MRCP and pelvic/rectal MRI).

We Bulk Bill

All routine X-Ray, CT and Ultrasound examinations are bulk billed with the exception of certain examinations which Medicare deem exempt from Bulk Billing.
